Carmichael pizza clerk shot during robbery | Crime

CARMICHAEL, CA - A man was shot and injured during a robbery Monday around 8:40 p.m.

The suspect entered the Dominoes Pizza at 7250 Fair Oaks Blvd. and demanded money from the clerk, Sacramento County Sheriff's Deputy Jason Ramos said.

The suspect fired a shot in the direction of the clerk, which wounded him in the upper body. Ramos said the victim suffered a minor gunshot wound.

The suspect fled the scene on foot, without any money.

Ramos said the suspect is described as a white man with a mask over his face, wearing a gray sweater and black pants.
